๐ Restaurant week (no urine allowed)
A Mystery Urinator at large in Beverly, our first ever Beverly restaurant week, a massive real estate deal on Rantoul Street, and plenty of upcoming events

Good morning, Beverly. Itโs restaurant week and weโre feeling temperatures in the 40s! I can see my grass, itโs almost March, and weโve only had one urine incident in the first 60 days of the calendar year. Things are looking up, Bevs!

THE DIGEST
The Mystery Urinator ๐บโ๏ธโ
"The other night, someone decided to turn a local drinking establishment into their personal bathroom, peeing all over the bar instead of using the restroom like a normal human being," police said in a Facebook post. "Not only is this disgusting, but it's also incredibly disrespectful to the staff and patrons."
When I created this newsletter I knew Iโd cover a diverse set of topics. Things like local politics, restaurants, businesses, community events, and my specialty - the trash schedule. Enter โThe Mystery Urinatorโ.
There better not be any copycat urinators out there. This man has already marked his territory.

$162 Million Real Estate Deal on Rantoul Street ๐ฐ๏ธ ๐ต
In one of the biggest real estate deals in the cityโs history, the Praedium Group LLC purchased four apartment buildings from Beverly Crossing a few weeks ago for $162 million.
The Praedium Group stated, โOver the past decade, downtown Beverly has evolved into a culinary and retail destination along the North Shore, featuring a range of walkable options, including breweries, restaurants, and cafes.โ
The impact of this deal on current tenants and rent prices remains to be seen. Paul Leighton of The Beverly Beat did a phenomenal job covering the story and I look forward to more of his due diligence on this topic and more.

We went to Quรฉ Mas this weekend and it was fantastic. I had the fried pork chuleta, some burrata ravioli, cacio e plantain, and chocolate tres leches to close out the meal. I highly recommend you try it if you havenโt already. Also, follow our Instagram page!

From February 1 through March 15, Cradles to Crayonsยฎ, the Boston Bruins, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and Wonderfund are coming together with organizations in your community to collect new pajamas for local children living in low-income and homeless situations. Together, we are looking to collect 10,000 pairs of pajamas. By supporting us with a PJ Drive, you will directly supply new pajamas to the children who need them most so they can stay warm for a good nightโs sleep. More information can be found here.
2/27 - 3/2: Spring & Summer Sports Sale at the Wenham Museum ๐ ๐ โฝ๏ธ ๐
For many of our valued visitors, members, and supporters, outdoor play and discovery and organized youth sports are also an important part of daily life and the spirit of our local community. Weโve realized thereโs a high demand for gently used sporting and athletic equipment within our multi-generational audience. In keeping with the museumโs former Attic Treasures Sale tradition, the Spring & Summer Sports Sale will bring the community together for a fun and affordable resale event that benefits Wenham Museum.
