The Cabot is Buzzing ๐ญ๏ธ ๐ฅ ๐ผ
Hereโs the latest on our favorite theater:
The Cabot is planning to close for three months beginning in July so they can perform renovations to the exterior of the theater, including a new sign. Iโll be singing โWonderwallโ with an old guitar out front if you want some cheap entertainment. (Tips are expected.)
Brian Ridolfo is the new executive director. Ridolfo was chosen after a nationwide search and has vast experience in the performing arts.
The Cabot was awarded a $200,000 grant through the Mass Cultural Council "Gaming Mitigation Fund" program โ the highest amount available. The program is designed to support venues that compete for shows against resort-style casinos in Massachusetts.
