TOGETHER WITH

Good morning, Beverly. We’re getting down to the wire for Valentine’s Day plans. If you’re anything like me, you’re going to blame your lack of planning on the hours spent shoveling this year.
In today’s Beverly Buzz:

President’s Day Deals? Don’t Forget to Check the Financing…
It’s President’s Day car sale season! A great price is tempting, but before you sign, remember: a low sticker price doesn’t mean low financing costs.
Dealers may offer promotional pricing, but the loan you take through the dealership might not be your best option. Dealer financing is set up for convenience, not necessarily savings.
💡 The price may be great, but what about the rate?
Even small differences in interest rates can add up over the life of a loan. Check out our virtual showroom and find the best price deal!
🔍️ Take a moment to compare.
Before you commit, shop the financing—not just the car. A quick rate check from Beverly Credit Union can help you see your options.
🚗 You can refinance later, too.
If you financed at the dealer last week, last month, or last year, you may still be able to refinance for a better rate or more affordable payment.
If you’re curious how your auto loan stacks up, Beverly Credit Union is happy to take a look and help you explore your options. Let us take a look.
THE DIGEST
Beverly’s Bad Boys (The Feline Kind) 🐈⬛
Your garden-variety tabby might be cute, but Animal Control Officer Matthew Lipinski says some "free-roaming" cats are becoming a local menace. A new ordinance proposed to the City Council on February 2 would slap owners with a $50 fine for "nuisance" behavior (think: stalking, aggressive scratches, biting, or gang signs). The city is also looking to ban feeding wildlife at spots like the old Bowl-O-Mat to keep the local coyote population from getting too comfortable. The only thing that can curtail these nuisance cats? Toddlers.

Incoming: Restaurant Week Beverly 🥘
Get ready to loosen your belt — Restaurant Week Beverly is back. Our local culinary stars are serving up exclusive dining deals from February 20 – March 1. Start planning now as plenty of local spots are participating, like Delphine's Kitchen, A&B Burgers, El Jalisco, and more! Beverly Main Streets is adding new menus to the lineup daily, so keep an eye on the list!
Reminder: Fall in love with downtown is ongoing all month, with local businesses sharing great deals and ways to celebrate the month of love. You’ll find upcoming events at Clay Dreaming, Reverie 73, Jolie Tea Company, Soy Much Brighter, and more!
Roll Call for Beverly Artists 🎨
It’s time to apply for Arts Fest Beverly: Calling out all artists, retailers, food vendors, performers, and local nonprofits - applications are now open for Arts Fest! Applications are due by Monday, February 16.
